Restaurant Bond is closed during Christmas from December 22nd until Januari 5th.
We are back open again on January 6th 2009.
Bond is a stylish restaurant in the Southern part of Amsterdam; it has a chique but relaxed atmosphere. The interior was inspired by designs from Charles Eames and Frank Lloyd Wright as well as luxury hotel lobbies in the fifties. The restaurant has a warm golden glow.
Bond is truly a restaurant for people who appreciate excellent food and wines. The modern French cuisine is run by Craig Anthony Mc Shane en Jade Lindsay Bruce. Both excellent chefs, both from Australia, have worked in star restaurants in Australia and Ireland.

Wow, what a treat! We went to Bond to celebrate a birthday and therefore splashed out on the 007 surprise menu. Not cheap, but a very enjoyable experience that turned a meal out into a real occasion.
It took us 4 hours to get through the umpteen courses that allowed us to sample a large proportion of the restaurant's menu. Every dish was a delicious and beautifully presented new adventure and we certainly didn't leave hungry!
I'd read about some bad experiences with service, but for us that was certainly not the case. Our waitresses were both charming and efficient, and the speed of the service was spot on.
If I have a critisism it would be that the Prosecco was overpriced and that the tables are a little close together (in typical Dutch fashion) for a restaurant of this calibre. |

When we arrived, they could not find our reservation. We could show them our printed email of the confirmation they sent us. They apologized and they wanted to set us at the bar for dinner. We refused and they have found a table. More than 3 hours to finish our meal. Food and decor was good, just above average. Service was very bad. Overall price/quality ratio is definitly not worth a visit. |

Bond is one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam. The food and atmosphere is great. The menu changes from time to time but each time you find something that is better than the last. Like a lot of European restaurants, the service could be faster and the temperature better controlled. If you can endure a 2+ hour meal and a little heat, this is a great place to take a date. |

A very enjoyable evening in a very nice 'swanky' restaurant. Food and wine were very good and the service delightful due to a very nice blond haired waitress who helped make our evening - i.e. she was charming, smart and witty with us. in a professional manner.The only down was that when we arrived there was no 'reserved' table. We were asked to choose one that was free. This was a bit annoying as I expected that we be taken to a table rather than debate between the 4 of us which one to choose and what to choose from. |

Last weekend I took my first trip to Amsterdam and had the good fortune of Dining in Bond restaurant. Since my stay was only short, I was in search of the best culinary experience possible, and I am pleased to say I found it! The design,decor and ambience of the restaurant is superb, matched with excellent service by my waitress, was a delight in itself.
Chefs Craig McShane and Jade Bruce have designed one of the best menus I have sampled for quite sometime, complimented with a unique and diverse wine list, made my experience at Bond truly memorable (Venison was brilliant!!)
Definately one not to be missed.
