Food is always excellent: I usually enjoy the seefood platters. Service is not always good, but not worse then Amsterdam average. Minor mistakes and sometimes long waiting time but usually they mean well and are friendly. In the end you always get what you need. If you have a bottle of wine: keep it within your own reach, because staff is slow with refills. Tip: as dessert take the coffee friandise: you will get coffee with mini portions of different desserts. tasty and not too filling!

Goede service en heerlijk gegeten. Enige nadeel is dat de tafels erg dicht op elkaar staan.

I visited with my friend, and we took our 4-year-daughters with us for dinner. They were a bit noisy but waiters and waitresses were always friendly for them. They gave them some breads, small plates and pens for drawing. If we want, they can cook simply for kids. I really recommend this restaurant for people who want to come with thire children. And the food, they were a bit asian tastes, I think. They were nice, but I don't think I'd like to eat them one more time. Surprising, our children ate a lot! a lot.

it was another disappointed evening from Restaurant week. Poor service, standard quality food = not so spectacular. Since when just using creamy sauce became French??

Ate there February 29th 2008. It was a Friday night, and was busy but not too noisy. The tables are quite close together - fairly normal for a European city restaurant - but we didn't feel too crowded. It's a French-style menu, with seafood a speciality. There's a fixed price menu, but we chose to order off the regular menu. The main courses of sole and skate were both very tasty and well presented. We also had desserts - profiteroles and a meringue and coffee and walnut ice-cream concoction, both of which were excellent, but perhaps a little on the large side. It's not the cheapest place in Amsterdam. Two main courses, two desserts, two coffees and half a bottle of wine was around €120 but we very much enjoyed it and would go there again.

The food was very nice, despite the fact that the waiter brought me the wrong main course, twice. He also didnt take my partners food back to keep it warm while I waited for another ten minutes. Finally he said I could not order the dessert I wanted because apparantly I had ordered the menu and could only choose one of three desserts. This was untrue, he just didn't speak dutch well enough to understand me. The food was lovely but this guy just about ruined the whole outing.
