Seasonal dishes from around the world
On the hotel’s ground floor you will find the Okura’s Brasserie Le Camelia, named after a beautiful, delicious fragrant exotic flower - the camelia. The restaurant’s interior exudes the atmosphere of an Art Deco-style Parisian ’brasserie’ , making it an attractive meeting place for all kinds of colourful people, from convention attendees to relaxing shoppers. In addition to the lavish daily breakfast buffet Le Camelia’s kitchen offers a selection of international dishes and a set menu based on seasonal products. The brasserie is not only perfect for informal occasions, but also for business meetings.
Le Camelia Brasserie awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin
On Monday 27 November 2006 Le Camelia Brasserie was awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin. In addition, the Ciel Bleu en Yamazato restaurants continue to be recognized by Michelin by means of one Michelin star each. Hotel Okura Amsterdam’s having received three Michelin awards for three very different kitchens is unique in Europe.
Ronald Oud, Executive Chef of Le Camelia Brasserie, said: “It’s marvellous to get recognized by Michelin like this. Every day, my team and I prepare international seasonal dishes that are all about creativity and products of the highest quality.” < |

Food: 2 | Service: 4 | Decor: 8 A huge disappointment!! I am very shocked that the quality of the food and service that we recieved on sunday lunch, can come out of the same building that has such high standards in their other restaurants. Not possible you were awarded the bib gourmand with what we recieved! |
