The restaurant inside was classic furnished. The rooftop looked a bit more trendy, but unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside.
The food (pasta and entrecote)was OK, but nothing special. The waitresses were polite. Because of our booking with Diningcity.com,they gave us a 15% discount. The price was still quite high comparing to the food. |

Ok it was Christmas Day lunch so the restaurant was quiet - only 15 customers - as most Italiand celebrate on Christmas Eve, but it was a perfect location for us as British tourists in the eternal city wanting something a little bit special and more expensive than everyday. The menu was set, not a la carte, but we knew this and had chosen this venue and checked the menu's on-line and booked well in advance. So, the service was impecable, everyone spoke our language and did their job well, as well as their second job of taking photos of us at every opportunity. Nice momento for us but maybe irritating for other diners - but hey it's Christmas day and it's what we'd do at home! Alessandro was particularly attentive, also Greg and Lucia - great to be on first-name terms with the waiters. The food was excellent and two deserts - we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Ok it was expensive, but worth every euro. The wine list wasnt as expensive as I thought it might be - reasonable wines at reasonable prices. And as we left the maitre d gave us a gift of a "torte" - more food!!! Sweet thought though. |

Impeccable and very friendly service. The degustation menue was very good although not haute cuisine. |

Fantastic!! - We have just had our wedding reception in the Roof Top Restaurant at the Hotel Savoy. Our whole party had an amazing time. The setting was beautiful and the food was superb. Everybody commented on the staff and how attentive they were. The manager was very obliging and made us feel very special. Our day was perfect in every way thanks to Aldo and his team. |
